Discover the Serenity of Paradise Beach, Phuket
Paradise Beach is undoubtedly one of the most attractive and serene beaches in Phuket. Nestled just 5 km southwest of the bustling Patong Beach, this compact beach stretches barely 150 metres but offers an idyllic escape with its stunning views across Patong Bay. Its unique charm lies in its tranquility, shaded by palm trees and tropical almonds, and bordered by large granite rocks at both ends. A coral reef lies about 100 metres offshore, making it a haven for snorkeling enthusiasts.

Getting to Paradise Beach
Accessing Paradise Beach is an adventure in itself. From Patong, head south along the last stretch of Patong’s Beach Road to Amari Phuket. At the fork, take a left and continue past Baan Yin Dee. Follow the road, passing the entrances to Tri Trang Beach Resort and Merlin Beach Resort, and head towards Emerald Bay. The narrow and twisty road may seem challenging, but the journey is worth it as it leads you to the serene Paradise Beach carpark.

Activities and Amenities
Water Activities
Paradise Beach Phuket Club dominates the beach, offering a range of water activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and scuba diving. The calm, jet ski-free waters provide a perfect environment for beginners and experienced divers alike to explore the vibrant coral reef. Snorkelers can venture to the three rocky capes at both ends and between the two beaches.

Beach Fun
On the sandy expanse, visitors can enjoy swinging from a rope attached to an overhanging tree branch, plunging into the refreshing waters below. For those who prefer to stay dry, beach volleyball and sunbathing are popular activities. The beach’s tranquil atmosphere, devoid of beach vendors, ensures a peaceful and relaxing experience.

Dining and Refreshments
The Paradise Beach Club offers a variety of refreshments and souvenirs, with a good selection of Thai and international dishes available at its onsite restaurant. Guests can choose to have their meals served to their sun loungers or dine in the indoor dining room. The back of the beach is lined with three chic and trendy restaurants, each serving Italian, Chinese, and Thai cuisine. Prices are comparable to those in Patong, with large, tasty pizzas priced around 250 baht.

The Full Moon Festival
One of the highlights of Paradise Beach is the Full Moon Festival, Phuket’s biggest beach party. Modelled after the famous Full Moon Party on Koh Phangan, this upscale event is well-organized and attracts famous DJs, local expats, Thais, and tourists. Held monthly on the night of the full moon, it offers a night of music, dancing, and revelry. Tickets, which can be purchased at travel agencies or online, typically cost around 1,000 baht and include entrance and a free cocktail.

The Exclusive Paradise Beach Club
Paradise Beach Club Phuket is a large, well-developed party spot set in an isolated bay. It features shops, restaurants, activities, and fantastic beach parties, creating an air of exclusivity without being prohibitively expensive. The pristine 150-metre white-sand beach is lined with sun loungers and a volleyball court. Trees provide shade, and the hilly flanks of the secluded bay offer a sense of isolation and exclusivity.

Conclusion
Paradise Beach is a hidden gem in Phuket, offering a serene escape just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach. Whether you’re looking to enjoy water activities, relax on the beach, indulge in delicious food, or join the vibrant Full Moon Festival, Paradise Beach has something for everyone. Its stunning natural beauty, combined with the amenities of the Paradise Beach Club, makes it a must-visit destination for anyone exploring Phuket. So pack your swimsuit, grab your snorkeling gear, and get ready to discover the tranquility and charm of Paradise Beach.
