Bottom end accomodations. The bed was nice, but everything else was just wretched. The trail in and the stairway to the beach are a long treacherous walk. There's no food or drinks available on site. Stray dogs live in the pavilion. The bungalows are so decrepit that they're impossible to clean in any decent fashion. Smoke from burning trash piles make the place unlivable at times. Monkeys jump all over the roof most mornings. Insects of all kinds come into the bungalows. One night a snake had shed it's skin in the bathroom. Photo of the supposed sea view is from one angle from the dumpiest bungalow of all.

One of the nicest places I have stayed in Thailand. The owners Lod and her husband are such lovely people.
I had booked for 4 nights but stayed a week. Lod cooked every night, mostly fish that her husband had caught that day. The barracuda green curry and barracuda with garlic pepper were fantastic.
I rented a scooter from Lod and she sorted out my onward travel. She took me to the boat when departing and picked me up when I arrived.
It was cool watching the monkeys around the place, they keep their distance, have the odd play on the bungalow roof but they go away if you clap your hands.
There is a mosque in the village but it's pretty low key and hardly audible over the sound of the sea.
The steps down to the beach are fine, if you have fitness issues then you just walk down the drive and walk around to the beach.
The beach is one of the nicest on the island with ample bars and restaurants. You can sit with a cocktail and watch the sun set over Koh Phi Phi. You can see the sunrise from the bungalows also.
So, my sister Lod. Thank you so much for this amazing stay. You and Tuna are such lovely people. You make a lovely couple.
I will be back one day for sure. Choc dee khap.

Good Price for a pretty basic bungalow. The Host was nice and really helpful. We rented a scooter straight from her without any issues and didn’t even have to give any form of deposit. Bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. During a Strom some water came in through the wall but it was nothing bad. Also the monkey around shut down the whole electricity once but she fixed it after a while.

The people are very friendly and helpfull. They speak good english. My ferry was met by their own boat.Lovely setting, very unusual jungle and rubber tree hill top creates a peaceful atmosphere. Fireflies sparkle at night. Great quiet beach

Our favourite place in all of Thailand (and south east Asia!!). This place is so beautiful, surrounded by nature. The bungalow had. Beautiful view overlooking the jungle and Phi Phi island. The room is very comfortable and Lod, the host, is so kind and helpful. Excellent value for money and a really comfortable stay. Couldn’t recommend it enough, I would stay here forever!

Such nice hosts, great food and very welcoming. They pick you up at the pier and welcome you with a bottle of water and all the info you need. They speak good English. They also drive you back to the pier when you have to leave. The place is beautiful, with simple but very clean bungalows in a jungle scenery on a hill top with an ocean view, surrounded by trees, flowers and beautiful butterflies dancing around. Would definitely come back.

When you like to live in nature, its perfect. Situated in the middle oc beach and main road. Landlady there is really warm and caring. Good price! You can also have breakfast and dinner there. Loved the place!
Pros - the owners are friendly and speak reasonable English. The food is good and there is often a nice cooling breeze in the restaurant. There is a nice beach below (but many steps). The bed linen was good.
Cons - the bungalows are just basic shacks with a bed, a fan, a few wire hangers and a cold water bathroom. The mattress wasn't great and our shack needed a good clean and general maintenance.
Overall it's ok for the price but would benefit from some simple care and attention

ACCOMMODATION: (5/5)
The bungalows are very basic. A bed with a mosquito net, electricity supply, a small table and a small balcony with a table. Basically you get what you pay for, but nicely and well done. There is a private bathroom with toilet in each bungalow. If you want a simple, cheap and rustic experience, this is just perfect.
LOCATION: (4/5)
Good Morning Bungalow is located right next to the beach, about 50m high on a slope. From the place you can see over the island to the mainland in the east and towards phi phi islands in the west. One of the 3 villages on the island is just nearby and you can find small markets, stands and restaurants. To get to the beach you need to walk ~2 min down on a outdoor stairway.
Because the place is a on a hill, there is always a little breeze.
We really liked that, cause it's pleasant on hot days and always provides a change from the heat on the beach
HOST: (5/5)
The place belongs to the very kind and friendly local family of Rorn and Jing. They speak good english and will help you with everything you need. They will also pick you up at the arrival point on the island.
FOOD: (5/5)
You can eat there and the food is really delicious. They will take care of personal requests for the food and prepare it the way you want. We are vegans and they cooked all dishes we wanted to try without animal products for us. Best cooked food we have had so far in Thailand. 5/5
BEACH: (4/5)
The Beach is good, but a little rocky (like many other beaches on the islands). It,s good on the one hand to provide shadow but not so pleasant for swimming.
There are little people on the beach here, mainly from the bungalows nearby.
If you walk about 200 meters north on the beach, you will be at a part with even less people and no rocks.
SUMMARY: (5/5)
We would definitely come here again. The place is all in all great, it's very clean, beautifully done and the hosts are so kind and supportive.
