Superb service! The staff, especially the lady at reception, were all super friendly, helpful and forthcoming. I was even allowed to take a book home from their library.
We stayed in a garden view villa, the room was clean but, as others have mentioned, lacked any shelves to store your things. Apart from the bed, we only had a small table in the room. The shower only supplied cold water. But the hammock and chairs on the front porch were really nice to hang out in.
The foods we had were all good, even though there are some other, really nice restaurants. The food was also slightly more expensive than some of the others, but the awesome view makes up for that :)
Motorbike rental was 250 baht a day, super easy process and we had no issues.
The direct access to a quiet beach was also really nice. There is a kayak to use for free, beach towels, beach Matt's and beach umbrellas, all for free. There is also a massage hut on the beach.

Fantastic location on the island. Access to private beach via staircase. The view from the restaurant was so beautiful and watching the sunset over the water here was delightful. Beds were comfortable with mosquito nets. Bathroom not the best but the rest of the qualities of this place far outweighed anything. Free use of kayaks were great also. 😍💫
The pros:
From a “partial sea view“ bungalow, it was beautiful to see the sunset. One can hear the ocean and the birds., sometimes even see the monkeys.
The bathroom is big and fully tiled.
The part of the island it’s in is lovely and there’s nice Thai restaurants within a short walking distance.
The cons:
The resort is in the worst part of possibly the worst strip of beach on the island: if the tide is low, there’s a lot of rocks which make the ocean inaccessible; if the tide is high, there’s maybe 3 or 4 meters of wet sand and, unlike all the other resorts on this strip, Jungle Hill does not provide chairs to lounge around on.
The stairs. Everyone on their reviews talks about them and we ignored them. Our mistake, but suffice it to say, it’s not a minor issue. The concrete steps are build for giants and the ones made from wood boards are rickety. If you suffer from vertigo, do not approach.
The rooms don’t get cleaned daily. I really don’t care about a change of towels, but when one is asked to not flush toilet paper, tampons, etc., I find it necessary to get rid of the trash.
A general malaise in the staff. Lots of employees but not one engaged or even smiled. Cleaning devices and packs of water were left unattended for over a day either under our bungalow or literally in the middle of the trail to get to the reception/restaurant.
I could go on but I think this already paints a pictrure.

Unbelievable place, lovely little bungalow huts nestled in the trees on the coastline. The staff were so accommodating, friendly and just such pleasant people to be around. Even the bungalow that marketed itself as ‘partial views of sea’ offered beautiful outlook onto a calm untouched beach with views for miles across to Phi Phi island on the horizon. The food was so varied, fresh, excellent service, and the restaurant was perfectly placed for watching the sunset. You can hire motorbikes easily from Jungle Hill and they were super helpful when we had an issue with the gas refilling (definitely check the amount of petrol in it before setting off on a tour of the island!).
We booked it for 1 night, managed to extend it to 2 nights, but regret that we were not able to stay any longer as we needed to head back to the mainland.
But we just cannot wait to come back here.

We had a beach view, and a very comfortable space here. Beach is private and the staff were really helpful. We were picked up by them from the ferry and dropped right at the hotel. Koh Jum was a perfect place to relax and escape the more touristy destinations. Highly recommend.
This is paradise. The bungalows are very nice, comfy and just perfect to relax. You see one of the nicest sunsets from the beach or from the balcony of ur little bungalow. The staff is so super nice, the food is excellent, the drinks (I can only speak for non alcoholic) are super deliscious. It is just perfect for relaxation vacation. They rent motorbikes and bicycles. Just amazing 🥰

This resort, like the others on this beach, has the perfect location on a slope right next to the sea.
I deducted a star because of the small details that were annoying and could be controlled easily.
For example: really uncomfortable hammock, 50% of lights not working, very hard mattress, broken door handle, too small mosquito net, no proper table really to put stuff on....this would be alright for a 10€ Bungalow, but as the prices surged in Thailand, the expectations did too. I think, many other people would have probably rated 3/5.
Restaurant is alright, but no burner. Went to eat outside every night!

Sea view, the sound of the waves, shadow of the trees, very nice and helpful staff. The lodging is a bit Robinson Crusoe, they are upgrading.

It's a beautiful beack ,I love you get a beach mat and umbrellas. The food especially if having a special wish is rather poor, scooter rental 250 whereas 200/ day is more common. You can get water refills for 15 thb/ liter.they are trying it's just one person speaking and understanding English so....it can be hard.
The massage at their place is something for you, if you never had a Thai massage. Otherwise you will be really disappointed.price350/hour
