SAii Phi Phi Island Village Resort

On arrival at this stunning location we felt like we were on a movie shoot. It is simply beautiful! The staff were fabulous and so attentive. Our villa was lovely with a partial sea view and the pools and facilities were excellent. We booked a dragon boat for a trip round the islands at the hotel and this worked well as we could decide our itinerary. A memorable day! On our last full day we booked a dragon boat to take us around the island to the busier part just for a few hours -on returning to Sai we were hit by a storm and it was terrifying!! A very competent boatman but any hint of bad weather I would not take the chance. Was a perfect trip for us as a couple for three nights having been in the madness of Bangkok but could be quiet although a beautiful group sang and played nightly.

I loved it here so much! The beach was beautiful, so many fun activities and things to do here, amazingly attentive staff, golf cart ready 24/7 to take you to your room, and AMAZING BREAKFAST. The Thai food here was so, so good. Rooms were also nice. Bathroom is big as well. Very quiet and private beach. If you want to go to Phi Phi but want to experience the more peaceful and natural side of things, this hotel is the way to go. Perfect for couples, friends, or families! Also super easy to call a golf cart to pick you up from anywhere in the hotel!

I recently stayed at this extraordinary hotel, and I can't praise it enough. The rooms are superb—clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, offering all the comfort you could wish for. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the outstanding staff. They are genuinely superb, going above and beyond to ensure every guest feels valued and cared for. A special mention goes to Tanya, who truly saved my life during my stay. When we found out that there were no more places available on the boat we needed, Tanya went out of her way to help us. Despite it not being her job, she found us another boat company and made all the reservations for us. We were completely lost and had no idea how to handle the situation, but Tanya stepped in and took care of everything. Thanks to her incredible assistance, I was able to make it to an important meeting that I would have missed otherwise. Her dedication and willingness to help were truly remarkable. Tanya's support made a significant difference in my stay, and I am deeply grateful for her help. Overall, this hotel offers an exceptional experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay with top-notch service.

This is the best hotel we’ve visited ever. First, the surroundings with blue, clear water was amazing. Also, the resort is quite and was a perfect place for relaxing. The stass was so lovely giving us Really Good service with Everything we needed. For example, they booked us a boat immidieatly for going to the hospital in the center of Phi Phi. They Also have their own nurse at the hotel who helps you with Everything you need. Overtall, a 10 out of 10 experience. Would definetaly come back.

Overall it is a stunning hotel. It's like being on your own little paradise Island. Its a very relaxing hotel, we only stayed for 2 nights but if you was to stay longer you may get a little bored if your an active person. There's not too much to wander off to, there is a little village at the back which is sweet and water activities to do. There is also boats taking you to main Phi Phi from the hotel which you have to for. My only suggestion is if you want a night out in Phi phi you need to stay in the main area. However, this hotel is perfect for a relaxing holiday and we enjoyed every moment!

We had a pleasant stay here for one night. Departure ferries are available at a cost. It took a while to check-in as the hotel was unable to deal with the number of guests who had arrived on a boat. Considering the hotel itself is very luxurious, the rooms were pretty average. |There is a stunning hammock on the beach which is lovely. |The quality of the food was average. We also ate at the restaurant for dinner. We specifically asked for a not spicy chicken green curry- when it arrived it was so spicy that we barely touched it. The hotel did kindly take it off the bill though. |The hotel pool is lovely though.Can be overcrowded even during low season. The hotel may benefit from creating a children's only area to alleviate a crowding in the pool. The swim up bar is a nice touch.

I personally would not regard this as a 5 star resort. It really requires an upgrade and some decent maintenance. The resort is not like the pictures on their website. The resort is swarming with mosquitoes & flies. We had a garden room. The bathroom/shower was very dark and gloomy, so dark that I was unable to determine what was shampoo or conditioner. I also sliced my finger open quite deeply while trying to open the latch on the window. It needed to be glued to stop the bleeding, required a course of antibiotics and daily dressings. When I mentioned the incident and showed my finger to front reception, she simply said ‘it has been windy’. Apparent language barrier and failure to understand what I had said, which is understandable considering I was in a foreign country. But some assistance would have been appreciated. We ate dinner at the village behind the resort where my husband became violently ill, so be careful. Breakfast at the resort was nice and had plenty of choices. However, the flies made it hard to enjoy the food. We were happy that we only stayed one night. Do your research on other properties as I’m sure you will find a nicer resort at a better price.

This resort was amazing. The cleaning ladies made sure we were stocked up on stuff everyday, the app was easy to order food through and the food was amazing and came quickly. The beach and pools were so pretty and quiet and just overall peaceful. The staff were all very nice and respectful and the gift shop was stocked with so much. Lastly, I left my pillow and blanket there that I have had for a long time and thought I was never going to see again but with a quick email, the staff packaged them up and sent them on a boat for me to get the next day, I am so thankful that they did that and this place is amazing.

I was a little disappointed in this resort and I will explain why in detail why. Firstly, when we arrived (and throughout our stay) we were confronted by two large diggers on the beach, a lot of noise and quite a few workmen. This issue persisted throughout our stay and so didn't create the relaxing paradise and ambience that we expected. Incredibly annoying and very disappointing. Secondly, check in was laborious. My credit card and passport disappeared for about 15 mins (no idea why) and I was asked to scan this code and that code with my phone for convenience. Check in took around 30 mins and was tiring. Guests do not want this after such a long, arduous journey. Third, they advertise a swim up bar at the pool. Sadly this was deserted and there was no service there at all, in fact, it wasn't even stocked. We had to go to another bar that was set back from the pool. Not exactly convenient for swimmers! All the other hotels that we visited in Thailand had a fully stocked and staffed swim up bars. Another disappointment. Other issues: the resort itself was very poorly lit at night; even the reception, which should have had a reasonable level of lighting was so dark that members of my family had accidents. Tripping over cables and walking into objects and stubbing toes were some of the issues. Also, the resort also offered no way to get cash for the guests. We were sent to village shops at the back of the hotel to get cash. Other issues, sometimes the buggy never turned up at our room despite ordering one. This resort is not 5 star, period. However, on the upside, the resort staff were lovely and tried to accommodate our needs as best they could. Housekeeping was excellent and they even called on us x2 per day to see to our needs. When the tide was in, the beach was utterly stunning and offered crystal clear waters and lovely soft white sand. The resort is very convenient for exploring Bamboo island and offers lots of activities. The village at the back of the resort is great for food and drink. I recommend Camel Rock Bar and Buffalo Head Bar and for food I recommend a restaurant called 'Pad Thai'...Overall our Beachfront beach house was lovely and the outdoor shower was used several times per day. Amazing to have an outdoor shower! The room was spacious and had tropical foliage at the front that offered sightings of humming birds and tropical butterflies. Lovely

We stayed for 3 days, 3 nights. Pros: Rooms are very nice and fitting of the 5-star label. Customer service is great and they are very attentive of all guests needs. Cons: This is not a 5-star resort, much closer to 3-star than 5-star. Everything from amenities, landscaping, fitness, pools, etc are more in line with what you would find at a standard 3/4 star resort. The main beach has a retaining wall due to the tides, which makes beach access only possible by ladder (unless you go to the public beach). Beach chairs are dirty and old. You cannot access the big village to the south without paying for a water taxi, it is inaccessible by roads. Overall: I would not come back unless I was on a budget. Pictures posted online are not great representations. For the price, the resort is great but do not show up thinking you are coming to a 5-star resort.
