Visited Phi Phi island with the intention of getting a long boat to visit the other islands . The 45 minute speed boat journey was great and went smoothly. Sadly we didn't see much of Phi itself as we were offered a great deal for a long boat straightaway. The long boat took us to the famous Maya Beach - we didn't actually go onto the beach - seeing it was enough! It is 400 Baht to access it. We snorkelled instead and saw some lovely sea life beneath the waves. We moved on to look at a lagoon and the Viking Cave where we also snorkelled and saw beautiful tropical fish. But BEWARE here. There is an undercurrent around that part of the island which made it difficult to swim against to get back to our boat. I would advise wearing a life vest here which they carry on the boats. I'm a fair swimmer but was holding a GoPro at the same time which hindered me. Ended up being a bit scary. Overall though it was a great experience.

All the Ferries, Speedboats, and Long tail boats, to and from Ko Phi Phi, use this pier for boarding and deboarding of passengers. It is always crowded from 10am to 4pm due to tourists. People from different hotels/resorts can be seen waiting to pickup guests. Tourists have to pay 20/person for environmental purpose after getting down on thia pier.

This pier is the gateway to Koh Phi Phi. It is a hubbub of activity. It can be overwhelming with a multitude of different boats and ferries surrounding the area. As soon as you get off your boat , you will be bombarded with people trying to sell you different excursions or ferry journeys. Do your research and be mindful of where your next connection is departing from and with which company.

It's where the boat arrived. And if you want to take a long boat, you can buy a place for 100 Bahts and go to your hotel directly, maximum 150 Bahts ! Do not pay more ! I always paid 100 Bahts for going to my hotel (Hip Sea View). There's no vehicle, it's the boat or walking. If you want to go swimming, go to the other side, it's 100% better !

It's functional and well-maintained spot for catching ferries to Phi Phi Island. The boarding process is smooth, and the facilities are basic but adequate. It’s not a destination in itself, but it does the job well for travelers.

I recently visited this pier bustling with big ferries and boats, and the sight was truly magnificent. The spaciousness of the pier allowed for a seamless flow of activity, while the colorful long-tail boats added a vibrant touch to the scene. The pier guards were helpful, and representatives from end-of-pier hotels were present to assist tourists in finding their accommodations. From my hotel balcony, the pier was visible and looked stunning from above, especially at night when it was quiet. The atmosphere was captivating, and it was a joy to witness the maritime hustle and bustle.

Crowded place. You enter in, you go directly to your hotel. Stay here as short as you can. Being here is against the feeling of Ko Phi Phi island nature.

To enjoy your resort stay in phi phi Island, this is where we got down. Most of the resorts here will have someone (reps from the resort) who would help you transfer your luggage.
