We spent an amazing cooking class at Baan Tiew. You can choose yourself the three dishes you want to cook, upon your arrival everything is perfectly prepared. The teacher’s instructions are very clear so she almost does not touch the food herself, you really are the one preparing your dishes. Obviously, the food was delicious, thanks to all the small hints we learned here I’m sure I’ll be able to cook the dishes again at home.

My wife and I have just had an evening here cooking authentic Thai dishes with local ingredients. I highly recommend having cooking lessons here if visiting the island of Koh Jum. I have added some pictures to add context and also the menu with associated price list to give you an idea what you can make. With that said I’m sure at Baan Tiew she will be more than happy to accommodate.

I took a batique class here with Tiew and it was wonderful! She’s a self taught artist as well as a chef. She really takes the time to make sure you know what you are doing, explaining each step as we went along. I really enjoyed my few hours being creative with her, I would highly recommend taking one of her classes. She also does tie dye sessions too! Thank you so much! You are an incredible women! I wish you all the best in the world🫶🏼

Tiew is an incredible cook, famous across the island. She taught us to cook Spring Rolls, Pad Thai and Green Curry - it tasted and looked like at a Michelin star restaurant. Truly amazing, lots of secret tips and very very friendly. Her English is also very good, so it's easy to understand her. Highly recommend it!
