We, as a desi travel couple, stumbled upon a hidden gem on Phi Phi Island – a beach tucked away behind the bustling Ton Sai Beach. Unlike the lively main strip, this little paradise offered a tranquil escape, perfect for some peace and quiet.
The moment we stepped onto the soft, white sand, we were greeted by a wave of serenity. The crystal-clear blue water shimmered like a sapphire, inviting us to take a refreshing dip. Lush greenery hugged the shoreline, swaying gently in the breeze. Traditional long-tail boats dotted the water, adding a touch of local charm to the picture-perfect scene. Majestic hills rose in the distance, framing this postcard-worthy paradise.

I had so much pleasure of visiting this wonderful beach located on phi phi island. It is situated at the back side of Ton Sai Beach and here there are several hotels in Phi Phi, this beach offered nice scenery and tranquil escape.
From the very first moment I set foot on its shores, I was immediately struck by the tranquil atmosphere and the incredibly soft white sands beneath my feet also wonderful blue water.
Surrounded by lush green trees, traditional long-tail boats, and majestic hills, the beach boasted a picturesque setting that seemed straight out of a postcard.

Loh Dalum Beach is on the edge of a large shallow beach on the north side of the island. Compared to all the other beaches I visited in Thailand this was the quiestest by far.
The water is clear and shallow but the bottom is quite rocky and at low tide better for paddling rather than swimming, or a spot of kayaking. The views are great and its quiet, but the beaches on the other side of the island are better for swimming.

Main beach on Koh Phi Phi, visited everyday and the water was refreshing in the heat. The beach is also very shallow for a couple hundred metres. So is good for paddling about.
Never thought I'd write a bad review for a beach, but I've never seen so much trash on a beach in my life. It's EVERYWHERE. I could've taken hundreds of pics of all the trash.
As soon as you get off the boat they charge you 20 Baht for an environmental fee not they can't bother to pay someone to clean this beach regularly. Most of the people on your beach are dumb college kid travelers who trash it. Totally gross.

Lovely beach. Much more quiet than the beach where the pier is located.
I give 4 stars because it's very beautiful, however, there was almost no place to swim when I was there. Not because it was busy, but you've to maneuver through all the longtail boats to get to a spot where you can actually swim a bit. Then have to be careful of the incoming and outgoing boats. The boats were also parked exactly at the best spot on the beach, leaving the worse parts for people to swim.
The environment was very nice though, with the beautiful view of the island which looks like it's closing in.

The beach is stunning and the best option if you only have a day on Koh phi phi. The best island tour to take is the first one at 6 am because it’s the least crowded which you’ll be thankful for when you come to Maya Bay (that has visitor caps).
If you miss the early boat tours, just hang out here at this beautiful beach. You’ll find it serene and reasonably empty from 10am-1 while tours are out. (At least in low season).
There are paddle boards to rent but during low tide you could walk to monkey beach 😉 The water is crystal blue, warm and feels like paradise.

Very nice break, perfect white sand, warm blue water, really shallow for ages. Be careful of sharp rocks in the sea though. Doesn’t get more like paradise 🏝️ loads of cafes and street stall serving the beach for refreshments such as the coconuts

This beach was disappointing. I had heard that Phi Phi Island is an amazing destination, so I was looking forward to visiting. However, neither side of the beach was suitable for swimming, and there were many pubs and clubs along the shore that created loud noise, especially in the late afternoon. I recommend taking a boat taxi to explore other beaches instead.
