I've stayed at about 6 different resorts on Phi Phi so far, and while it wasn't the largest or the closest to the beach, there was something about the suite that made it the best experience I have had to date. Like something out of an early 2000's commercial for what a luxury island escape looks like for the rich and famous.
From the incredible spa bath and outdoor shower (which was a welcome suprise) to the 1980's master control switch for the lighting, replete with time zone buttons for Paris, London and New York. While it had some retro touches, you couldn't call this suite dated.
There was something about it that made you feel like a CEO and a Mistress all at the same time.
I think I've found my repeat-resort. See you again P.P Palmtree🙌

The location is great. Walkable distance to the party beaches at night. The pool is nice specially having the access to it on the room. Downside, the whole hotel is non smoking.
The rooms are very old and the ac in mine stoped working at 5 am so they gave me another room but it wasn’t what I paid for so they change it a second time and it was very upsetting having to move at that time in the morning.
The breakfast very basic, no good at all.

Worth the price we paid.
Rooms old fashioned yet we'll equipped.
Pool was lovely.
Breakfast was included so no complaints there.
Location was really good for the price.
Would go again
Great location and the staff are wonderful, they could not do enough for us. The breakfast is dreadful so pop next door to the breakfast and brunch place. The location is great and the rooms are surprisingly quiet. The staff are the best and we felt really cared for

Near the beach, walkable distance from the Phi Phi Market. Rooms are clean and well maintained. We had breakfast there and the food was also good. The pool is with a live bar. Just a bit pricey.
Terrible for the price. On first glance the hotel is ok. However once inside you can appreciate that the place is very tired. The air conditioning was barely working and struggled to reduce the room temperature so took 6 showers in 24 hours just to remain cool. Complained and staff on reception said we can move you to another room but will be the same! They went on to say the system was very old and was maintained as the owners were not interested.|If I were you I would rather stay on the beach than pay money for this place.
Hello,
a friend of me wanted to see my hotel room. He didn't want to sleep there. He only wanted to see what my hotel room looks like.
The staff stopped us and told us that he will call the police or/and I will have to pay a fine of 2.000 Baht.
I explained that we will be back in a few minutes and that my friend only wants to see what my hotel room looks like.
He got unfriendly and repeated his statement. He had a really unrespectfull tone. I stopped my explanation and we went away. It wasn't wort the discussion.
At that moment, I knew, that I will never book that hotel again. I told my story several tourists and they couldn't believe what happened to me.
Dear, staff of Palmtree Resort. I give you a good advice --> change your nonsensical hotel rules.
Best regards
Don’t expect any service from this hotel. You will have a room and nothing else.
The only access to Phi Phi Island is a boat arriving 1 PM but room will be available only at 2 PM. If you decide to go for lunch while your room is not ready. No one will bring your luggage to your room (and there is no elevator).
Travel agency next to the hotel propose full day boat tour starting 6AM but hotel will not help you early breakfast solution. No sandwich, no water, nothing. Then you can enjoy your boat excursion with empty stomach.

A little oasis right in the middle of everything, lots of bars, cafe's and restaurants on the door step, but the rooms were quiet, the room decor was more typically Thai rather than modern and bland which we liked, pleasant helpful staff, adequate breakfast. Some cute cats lived there too.

Excellent value for money. My room was reasonably sized and well-furnished, perfect central location and nice and quiet despite being in the heart of Koh Phi Phi. An easy walk to many restaurants and bars, the pool was nice and the air conditioning worked fantastically (a must in the heat and humidity). Mosquitoes seemed to get in quite often which was a downside, but overall I very much enjoyed my stay. If you want to get away from the hostels and opt for a comfortable, peaceful hotel experience, this is a good place for it at a reasonable cost.
