Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort

What a resort!!! Absolutely loved our stay here - the resort is very beautiful, well maintained and clean. The greenery around the place is beautiful, the staff work very hard to keep it clean. Beautiful pool and very good buffet breakfast every morning. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. A staff member will meet you at the pier to take your luggage back to the resort - shout out the young guy that picked us up - he gave us some very helpful tips and places to visit. I forgot to grab his name though!! Lovely young man. The rooms are very small but cute. Comfortable beds - however like most reviews aren’t very sound proof. Yes you can hear the music from across the bay but no it doesn’t keep you up all night. We barely spent any time in our room anyway and by the time we got back we were exhausted & passed out anyway. 😆 they provide ear plugs & it stops by 2am. If you’re looking for a long tail boat ride I suggest hiring someone from the front of the resort. Prices are reasonable and they work hard to keep that strip of the beach clean and tidy. I was looking for a beachfront property in Phi Phi Island and found just the right place. Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort is located right on the beach and has a great infinity pool overlooking the beach. The property has bamboo huts designed elegantly with clean & neatly tucked rooms not too far away from the beach. The rooms are right sized with all amenities. Complimentary Breakfast is served in the restaurant opposite to the beach and has a splendid spread. Once you arrive in Tonsai Pier, the hotel is just 10 minutes by walk. There are numerous restaurants near the pier that offer you a wide variety of cuisines. In case you are looking for shopping there are many small shops located in and around the resort. Don’t miss the long tail boat ride to the famous Maya bay, Monkey bay and Viking caves. The hotel staff goes over and above to ensure that all your requirements are taken care off. Overall experience was superb. Value for money!

Nice and fresh room but small, bed ok good shower and nice view if you by the pool. Good pool area and love all the coconut trees. But they should trust the guest more! Felt like we were watched on everything we did, like we would not return pool towels, could not take some fresh milk from the breakfast buffs for the coffee and tea in the room, that we would no pay for the drinks we ordered….. Need better bartenders that know you don’t serve beers with ice, and should offer a glass instead with it. Lots of very strict rules and very very noisy at night from the bars along the beach all night long till early morning. Overall a good resort and probably one of the nicer ones on the island.

Quite a lot of ground to cover. First, getting to PHI PHI Island from Bangkok is a long journey. 1.5 hours airplane to Phukett, followed by 45 minute taxi from Phukett Airport to the pier, followed by a 1-2 hour ferry. So finally after 4-5 hours from Bangkok you arrive at PHI Phi Island and the Coco Hotel. The vibe at PHI PHI is very relaxed. We packed some fancy clothes thinking we would wear on a nice dinner out, but basically all you need are bathing suits, shorts and t-shirts. After a 10 minute stroll from the pier to the hotel you arrive at a very low key, checking reception area. A nice hostess walked us to our room. Each Room is built of bamboo on its own, independent of the other. The room is small, but neat. Bathroom in the room is also small but suitable for its purpose. These are very low key Island type of accommodations and not fancy. The staff is very accommodating. Polite and attentive. 1 restaurant for buffet breakfast or a-la-carte lunch or dinner. Breakfast buffet is very good. Large selection of western or local Thai food overlooking the bay. A-la-carte menu is reasonable priced and good quality. Not 5 star, but 3-4. Views of bay are relaxing and very tranquil. If you want a very low key place with friendly staff and comfortable but basic rooms Coco is fine. Walking distance to many local ships, restaurants bars etc. I liked the local stores all charged reasonable prices not taking advantage of tourists. I give the hotel 4 stars. I caution PHI Phi is very low key and beachy this is not fancy or luxury

Beautiful looking accommodations and especially at night when all the villas are lit up. |The villas themselves were cute to look at. They are very very small, and have zero installation. The noise from the music didn’t bother us, it was the noise from neighbours in the villas next to you. It felt as though they were sitting next to you and having the conversation with you. |The location ended up being a little further than we would have liked, especially when it was high tide and you couldn’t walk along the beach to the town center, you had to go the long way around.

The hotel is located in a nice area and has a beautiful interior, but that's about it. The noise insulation is terrible! You can hear everything – people's phone calls, private conversations, and even parties. It was impossible to get any sleep. The breakfast was poor and unappetizing. The staff was friendly but offered no solutions to any problems. One day, the pool was suddenly closed for the entire day without any prior notice. There were no alternative activities provided. I would never stay here again.

Such a gorgeous hotel in the main area of Phi Phi to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main centre. Its really relaxing, stunning pool, massages on beach, gorgeous view, you can go on Kayaks for an hour for free, lovely restaurant on site to and if your lucky you get to see the monkeys along the beach. Just stay away as they are a bit eager :D! The huts are lovely and such Thailand vibes! We would stay here again when visiting Phi Phi. Amazing staff. Thank you!

My stay at CoCo beach resort was such a joy and no, I didn’t have any issues with sounds like many reviews say. There was some music from wayy across the resort but it was no bother really. And it was until about 1 am and we hardly go to bed before then so really not an issue. The cozy cabins had my heart(and they have the best pillows)!! The breakfast was better than any 5 star hotel and the pool was the highlight! Out of my 2 days stay, I spent almost an entire day in the pool ❤️

I stayed for 5 nights. It's such a great hotel! At first, I was a little confused. The noise..The pool is not freshwater..seawater.. But the seawater pool didn't hurt my body. And I gradually got used to the noise and was able to sleep well. It was a perfect hotel except for the noise. At the end, I left my hairdryer ,they kindly they brought it to the harber. It's a hotel with some shortcomings (noise), but the friendly staff and cleanliness. And the love for nature make up for it all. Next time I visit Phi Phi Island, I will stay here again.

Honestly everything about this hotel was great. The staff was superb, the rooms were clean/comfortable, and the amenities were amazing. However there is a beach club nearby that blasts music until 3am every night that makes it impossible to sleep.
