I recently found myself in Phuket Town desperately searching for nearby hotels as my family and I needed a place to rest for the night. Amidst the frantic search, this particular hotel popped up on our screen. With the lateness of the hour and our tired son in tow, we hastily booked a room, lured in by its seemingly affordable price and proximity to our location.
However, upon confirmation of our booking and payment via credit card, I was shocked to discover that the hotel's actual location was nowhere near our intended destination. In fact, it was a staggering 2 hours and 39 minutes away, spanning a distance of 177.8 kilometers. Feeling deceived by what seemed to be false advertising, I promptly reached out to the hotel a few days later, politely requesting a refund due to the misrepresentation of their location.
To my dismay, the response I received from the owner was less than satisfactory. Instead of acknowledging the mistake and offering a solution, they simply retorted with the unhelpful remark, "My hotel is on Google Maps." This dismissive and arrogant response left me feeling utterly frustrated and disappointed.
In conclusion, my experience with this hotel was marred by their lack of accountability and professionalism. I cannot recommend a place that not only misleads its customers but also responds to valid concerns with such rudeness and disregard.

One of my favourite hotels in this area. A lovely family run small intimate hotel just a few Km from the beach. So inexpensive and includes a scooter.
Very clean and quiet. Highly recommended.
But if you want a beach outside your room or a pool and bar, if you want a 4* or 5* go and pay for one.
Please don’t knock a hotel which charges so little and gives so much.
4 night stay here. Surroundings very nice, feels like your living amongst the locals. Family run place, everyone friendly. Free hire of scooter very good. We had an issue with the scooter (stand was stuck) at a restaurant near by and the owner came down and fix it for us with no problem. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Really good WiFi. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was okay. Close to Khao ngon nak national park for trek to the top. Highly recommend views were amazing! Few beaches near by, and loads of restaurants, 10 mins on scooter. |Overall lovely stay at phu tubkaek view house. Would recommend.
4 night stay January 2019. We found the hospitality of the family amazing. Our breakfast was always thoughtfully presented in the garden area. Rooms basic but all we needed & very clean. The free use of the moped is a big bonus. Lots of lovely beaches with restaurants plentiful to choose from. Easy distance to the start of the trail in the Nature Park. It’s well-worth getting up early to be amongst the first to arrive at 7am to do the 2hr trek up to the view point. A good location to escape the hectic Ao Nang scene but close enough if that’s what you want.
We ended up arriving late at night and last minute. The room was very clean and modest. Great value for money. We were told we could take their bicycles or scooters whenever we wanted. The owners son also drove us to a few places instead of calling a taxi for us - all with no extra charge. Breakfast is pretty good and the location is close to the most amazing hike with incredible views! Located on the quieter side of the island though, but we really enjoyed it for a couple of nights and will definitely be coming back.
You couldn't find a more genuinely friendly guest house/hotel. From the moment you walk in, the place is clean, the floors shine.||The rooms are nice and spacious, just ask for a kettle and they will supply one.||the bathroom can have a slight odor to it, but that seems to be the norm in Thailand.||||The aircon units are new and clean, and very quiet. ||||Breakfast is just nice, loads of fruit, and the best coffee, fruit juice is fresh.||They give you all kinds of things for breakfast, I loved the banana fritters too. ||||You also get a scooter, this is free, you just put petrol in. all in good condition too.||The beaches are close, turn left or right and you come to the beach, turn right you come into town, loads of places to eat and drink, 7/11 and family store.||||I strongly recommend this guesthouse/hotel and the people are just lovely, they can't do enough for you. Need anything, just ask.||||I will be going back, and I stayed 11 nights for £219.00 inc breakfast and the scooter. Far too cheap. ;)
We had the best time in this guest house. Scooters are included, the rooms are cleaned every day, the owner is amaaaazing like all the staff there. We miss the breakfast and coffee from there. If you go to Krabi - choose this place. Good value for money and you feel like at home. If you are there, go to the beach to Mum's Bar - great place to hang out at night, play pool and drink local beer, watch the fire show. We will be back.||Kisses,||Klaudia and Monika
This hotel has a very warm, familial atmosphere.|I did not expect too much for the price they ask, but they convinced me otherwise. Very friendly and thoughtfull staff. Always happy to chat and give advice. The room is very clean, and they give you, in my opinion, everything you would expect from a hotelroom and a little bit more. |Exellent location combined with the free usage of scooters makes this place topnotch.|I highly recommend it to anyone.

Perfect value for money. The hotel is at a quiet place with easy access to the beach with a scooter that is provided by the hotel free of charge. The price also included a boat trip to Hong island. Comfortable room & bed. Nice breakfast and very friedly and helpful hosts.
Friendly place and lovely staff although English was poor. Lovely warm welcome with orange juice and fresh papaya served in reception.|Room was clean and well furnished although the large bed was really hard. So hard that I had a poor nights sleep and only stayed for one night rather than the two I had planned.|Bottles of water were provided along with a kettle, cups and coffee etc. No spoon though 😐.|Views from the balcony looking directly down were nice - fish pond with carp etc but the real surroundings were semi industrial.|I arrived in a hire car and didn't need the offer of the motorbikes.|It is a lovely little place, well off the beaten track and if you like really hard beds it is excellent value.
