We had a great 1 night stay. We were skeptical with the reviews but we it was ideal for what we needed. There was a pool, helpful staff, comfy bed, powerful shower, nice balcony, cheap price and a spacious room. We were high up which meant a lot of stairs were needed to be climbed which got us sweaty each time.

To be honest at first we were hesitated because of some reviews but turns out we've had a wonderful stay here if you read all the descriptions on Airbnb about this place and the details that host sent you then you wouldn't be complaining as she has mentioned about all the pros and cons of the property and the island already so just a suggestion for other traveler... READ the details to see if it's suitable for you or not but for me and my girlfriend we love this place and would definitely come back, staff at the hotel do not speak well English but very nice and helpful, Kate(the host) even she was not there but was very helpful as well she sent us all the things to do list and some few secret places to visit on the island LOVE IT! we've checked few hotels on the same side of the island and this place is actually very good price compared to somewhere else to be fair, bonus points for the pool and staff. So yeah over all we love the place and will come back for our holiday next year

Accommodations were over all clean and safe. It was a bit of a hike to get to the room, especially the first time up with our baggage. They did offer to have staff meet us at the port to help with our bags but after waiting for 15min, the AirBNB host contacted us and said it was going to be another 30 so we opt just to find our own way. Once we got settled we did find that there are shortcuts to walk around which were very convenient but you can’t come to Phi Phi without expecting to walk A LOT! The pool was clean and very nice to have so close to our room after the hot hikes up and down the hill, and considering that our shower did not work properly, the outdoor freshwater shower was a saving grace for getting the majority of the saltwater, sweat and pool water off. The AirCon worked great but was only able to turn in with the room key so the rooms were very hot when you got back from your days events. Lucky we had a poolside room so we would just dip while we waited for it to cool. The downfall with the pool side room is there is no view, which we did not expect considering it was the “view point” hotel. The bathrooms are just screen windows however so always quite hot and had a bit of an odour (no worse than other places we have stayed in SE Asia). The bed on the other was horrendous. It was so hard, you honestly could have slept on the tile floor with the same affect. We did complain to the Host after the first night asking if there was a topper or anything they could all to the mattress. It seemed like they tried because there was another layer of blanket under our sheet for the next night but it did very little to help. We did contemplate moving hotel for our last night on PhiPhi but after reading reviews it sounds like that is just the standard for the island unless staying at the upscale resorts. Not saying that we wouldn’t stay here again, we would just plan to come more prepared with camping mats or something of the sort. If sleep is the most important thing to you on a holiday, maybe spring for the more expensive accommodation for a few nights. Over all we loved PhiPhi and already talking about going back, but do your research and you won’t be disappointed.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. This is the most disgusting place I have ever stayed at. The room was absolutely stinking of sewage drains. The sink leaked, there were stains on the bedding, the shower was absolutely disgusting and the shower walls covered in brown stains. The service is basically non existent with the reception being unmanned most of the time. There were loud guests that shouted and played music until 6am because there were no staff to help control the chaos. I wouldn't be surprised if the place is full of disease.

The location is fine but the rooms are disgusting. Badly cleaned, stained sheets and towels. The bathroom reeked of sewage and it was disgusting. A lot of animals came into the bathroom: scorpions, cockroaches and centipedes. It is cheap but would not live there again.

I have to say I’m not picky and I look for very simple places. We stayed here because we needed a last min hotel for new years and everything is booked. We liked it at first and then realize the room was infested with ants. Literally ant eggs in the ceiling. You have one piece of food in the room the next hour you have ants all over your things. Like thousands. We stayed another night because everything was booked and I asked for a cheaper price and he was really rude about it I told him he had ants all over the room. I got many bites. When I told him he said I’m Not giving you any discount. He yelled at me saying “THEN LEAVE!” I haven’t encountered rudeness in Thailand yet but now I have. Personally this place is bearable but if you can go somewhere else I would. 🐜🐜🐜

Accommodation and service were ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. We found bedbugs on the sheets and pillows, so we immediately left and went to ask for a refund, but there was nobody at the reception. A member of staff let us know that the receptionist went on a 2 hour lunch break and that we had to wait… So we asked to speak with them on the phone, but they hung up while we were explaining the situation… Book at your own risk and peril.

DON'T BOOK HERE. It was the worst experience, I have ruined my days on Phi Phi Island. The place smells terrible, it is dirty, it is full of insects / cockroaches, there is a large sewage drain, all the showers have no pressure and their drains do not work. This place is a bad dream. In addition to the lack of infrastructure and maintenance, I had the bad experience of booking through Airbnb through Brooker Chompoo, this was definitely the worst thing that happened to me in my entire life. This woman is a scammer and mafioso, she wouldn't let me cancel my days to return my money. Be careful with her ! DON'T BOOK HERE

Pros - Close to the action but, quiet enough to sleep. Air Conditioning worked well, pool sufficient to cool you down, breakfast satisfactory.|Cons - Wi-Fi didn’t work in our bungalow although probably would work in bungalows by pool level. Wi-Fi speed fast in reception area.|The man who transported our bags from the pier to the hotel was very friendly, chatty & helped a lot of people along the way.|We would stay again, don’t expect anything fancy, just functional.
